Helpful Adobe shortcuts to help boost productivity!

We use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver every day at QLB designs! Each programme has its own uses, depending in the outcome of design you want to achieve. 

Photoshop is one of the most advanced tools in the design industry, it can make your creative imagination come to life with its plethora of professional tools! One of the beauties about it is that no one will ever really learn all the things you can possibly achieve with the programme, and two designers could reach the exact same design outcome in two completely different ways! 

We found this simple list of keyboard shortcuts, for Photoshop and Illustrator that we wanted to share, as they can be so useful in helping to boost your productivity as they speed up the work process! 

New Office Intern!!

The QLB Designs team would like to give a very warm welcome to our special new office intern! Jame's photocopying and tea making skills really are second to none. Therefore we were more than pleased to offer him a more permanent position in the team.

In the heat of the recession in May 2009, three men came together and started Holstee. More than a company, or clothes, the trio wanted to create a lifestyle. Starting in the summer of 2009 they dove head first into the world of design and production. The three men sat together and created the famous Holstee Manefesto, they sat and spoke not of what they wanted from their company, or from work, but what they each thought should be achieved from living life to the full, and it was this passion that they wanted to breath out into the everyday world through their business.

We love this company ethos as it mirrors similar things that we want to achieve through QLB. Reading The Holstee Manefesto is ALWAYS a guaranteed feel good! Spread the word!

We decided that 'In a world of pure imagination' from the original Charlie the chocolate factory would be the QLB theme tune as the lyrics are quite fitting to design and creativity...
